Silly season

What is your favorite season of year? Why?

In the entertainment world, the summer season from May onwards is often called “Silly Season” . It is a time of back to back events that can send you racing from one side of the country to the other.

It very often means getting up at 4 am, setting off whilst the sun rises and working through into the night.

It is a season when you take things day by day or week by week.

Quite often, Silly Season continues through September, perhaps in October, there is a little respite before you find yourself gearing up for the hectic Christmas season.

We sometimes laugh and ask ourselves why we do it,  but there is a strange kind of exciting buzz and addiction to the entertainment world.

This year’s some changes are afoot, and we hope to start a new venture in the crazy sphere of our event life.
