A great teaching quality is to have mastered the skill which you are teaching. If you are proficient in the skill , you are aware of the potential pitfalls and breakthrough techniques and can pass this knowledge on.
Good tutors have patience and understanding.We always remind students that everyone learns at their own pace, each person has their own learning journey.
In the circus workshop we have the most rewarding moments when we see a student make progress with a skill.
We like to encourage teamwork. In our ‘rehabilitation of offenders workshop’, we were incredibly impressed by the level of teamwork among participants of the stiltwalking workshop. They were very willing to share tips and help one another. It was amazing to see the look of satisfaction as these people achieved success.
