Sugar Plum Fairies

Here are our beautiful Sugar plum fairy stiltwalkers.

The sugar plum fairies are mythical beings featuring in folk law and are symbols of joy, light and compassion.

Sugar plums feature  in the Poem , A visit from St Nicholas (the night before Christmas)

The children were nestled all snug in their beds;While visions of sugar-plums danced in their heads;

Sugar plum fairies also decorate Christmas trees.

The Dance of the Sugar plum fairy can be seen in the Nutcracker ballet to music written by  Tchaikovsky.

We created the sugar plum fairies on stilts to attend Christmas events , with a vision of  sumptuous sweet costumes designed in Christmas reds and golds. With their heads above the crowds , they create a spectacular Christmas walk about act .
